We received a rough draft our of social worker's report today. I reviewed it, making changes as requested, and returned it to her. She is putting the finishing touches on it and will send it to the home study agency later today. Once the agency receives it, it will be reviewed again, then finalized and then sent on to the adoption agency for approval. Once that approval happens, we should be at the point of receiving an official referral for M3. This means her complete file will be available to us.
We are stoked!
I didn't know you were allowed to review what your social worker wrote about you. I can imagine some people frustrated with their reports (and social workers shocked by changes the applicants make), but fortunately that doesn't seem to be the case with you.

Oh, it's only clerical type things that we are welcome to change. We all have to sign saying that the contents are accurate to the best of our knowledge, etc. so things like date errors, spelling errors, grammatical things, etc. have to be addressed before things are finalized. Just have to help make sure the t's are crossed & i's dotted so down the road no one says..."Hey, I thought you guys were married in 2002, not 3002..." kind of thing.

One more big step forward! That is great news. I love hearing about forward progress.
